I thought a while before choosing the title “Building Your Personal Blog” for an article where I actually focus on the importance of having one’s own “Author Blog”.
Why did I hesitate?
It’s the terminology: many people believe that one has to be an author – in other words an accomplished writer or publisher – to build a name with an “Author Blog”. Actually, in the beginning I thought so myself.
Well, the Internet is the big equalizer and the fact is that everybody can and should build their name, brand, reputation and… authority – ideally with a Customized and Search Engine Optimized Semiomantics Author Blog – amongst the WP Best Themes and CMS out there on the web.
Building Your Personal Blog is about YOU
Building your Personal Blog can be about anything that has to do with YOU – your interests, your opinions, thoughts, Artwork, photos, sketches, products, services and more.
In my above example you see me writing about one of my favourite topics: my Secret Garden and all its exciting inhabitants. It’s my view, my pictures, my words – it reflect who I am and what I stand for. If you click on the picture you can go there directly and have a look as to what an Author Blog looks like and the many features it offers. . . well, it’s not just any Author Blog of course, it’s Semiomantics, what else?!
